After watching the Joshua Tree video and enjoying it so much, it was great to see that Michael and his crew followed through and did another in Bishop, and what an improvement! The production value is much higher this time around, with better sound, and a lot more climbing crammed into the hour.
The climbing itself has a lot more shots in it, with greater clarity, and more variety in terms of ratings. There wasn't anything harder than a 5.13, but then again, I'm not sure if Bishop has anything harder than that (and since my hardest redpoint has been a 5.11 - I'm not sure I need to see another "testpiece" I'll never be able to do)? It was great seeing some of the more obscure areas like Little Egypt and the Druids as well as the classics such as Owen's and the Happy Boulders. This video definitely made me want to get out and climb!
My only complaint (if I have to come up with one) is that the bloody hands and the language probably didn't need to be so harsh, but then again, it's all a part of climbing. If the videos keep going like this, than I say "Keep 'em coming Michael!"
