This is NOT "how to", but a collection of 12 short films about a variety of canoeing experiences..from poetic "canoe dance" to wildnerness expeditions to daring whitewater and then some. If you long to go paddling, settling in with this DVD is the next best thing to getting on the water. When I need to relax, I watch "The Birchbark Man", the story of Erik Simulas summer long 1,000 mile solo birchbark canoe journey around the arrowhead of Minnesota. (Solo?, he did have a great dog with him!)
