(More customer reviews)This is one of those things you need to get if you breed Icelandic Horses or want to know what "perfect" Icelandic Horse gaits look like. It's absolutely amazing to see a 9.5 or 10 for walk, trot, tolt, canter, pace, etc. and not just read about it.
IMHO if someone takes the time, energy & effort to breed Icelandic Horses, it seems obvious one should get familiar with the breed standard. And that's what this video does in a neat package.
Because of it's technical nature, this is not the first Icelandic Horse video I would choose to show at Thanksgiving to my non-horsey guests (unless, of course I wanted them to promptly fall asleep on my couch).
On that note, don't feel guilty if you can't watch it in one sitting. Be prepared for several bathroom breaks. It's tough for even the most hard-core Icelandic enthusiast to watch a half hour of perfect Walk. Then Tolt. Then Trot. Then Pace. It's absolutely ok to see it over several days to let all the goodness soak in.
The price seems a bit steep, but if these horses are an important part of your life (as they should be!), it's well worth it.
