(More customer reviews)I have to laugh when I recall the first round of the 1992 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, when the UTEP Miners played the Evansville Purple Aces featuring the mighty Parrish Casebier. Who the heck is that, you ask? My point exactly. The tournament analysts (and even the announcers who called this game) kept running their mouths about how Casebier was an NBA-caliber player, and what a great second-round matchup Evansville and Kansas was going to be, as if the Miners were already on a flight home.
The result? UTEP would defeat the fearsome Purple Aces, and would go on to upset the #1 seeded (and #2 ranked) Kansas Jayhawks in the second round. Fans of UTEP basketball simply must own this historic first round game (and I recommend all the UTEP games offered by NCAA On Demand as well).
