(More customer reviews)This is one of the best documentary films I've ever seen. It has made me question everything I thought I knew about the origin and evolution of the universe as well as all "new discoveries" as they are based on the belief that the Big Bang actually happened.
Who knew there was such controversy? It isn't mentioned in the press and the word theory has pretty much disappeared in connection with the Big Bang. It was a surprise to learn that so many scientists disagree with it and also that supporters have gone to such efforts to preserve it.
While I hesitate to call a film that deals with the cosmological constant and the deuterium abundance as "exciting", this film does stay interesting both thematically and visually by combining the scientific information with the personal recollections and views of several scientists and illustrating it with great computer animations.
I highly recommend this film.
