I'm baffled that anyone thinks this should provide any instructional value. It's pure ski entertainment and one of Warren's best. This is my favorite of all of Warren Miller's most recent films, including his latest, Impact. Warren's films stand apart from other ski films because of the narration by skiing's wise sage Warren Miller. At once humorous and soulful, Warren Miller captures the essence of the ski bum culture in his films. If you can only buy one Warren Miller ski film, buy this one, better yet, buy them all.

This is one of the most legit riding videos ever. The tricks stand alone as they are, but what makes this flick incredible is the cinematography and the editing. It's just shot flawlessly and is such a pleasure to watch.
The soundtrack is rad, too. It makes up much of the mix I listen to while riding...

Blu-ray in Deep (2009) Review

I LOVE this movie!! Saw some clips online about these guys and their wingsuits, which is also included. Beautifully shot extreme skiing and a killer soundtrack too. I've seen other extreme sport movies, some of which are just compilations of bits, but they really did a beautiful job filming this. Buy it, it's worth every penny. And definitely get the BlueRay if you can use it.

Patagonia Signatures: A Snowboard, No-Board, Ski & Drop-Knee Film Review

This is not a gnar shredding adrenaline junkie video. This is a chill, communion with nature, lifestyle vibe kind of movie with a great soundtrack. It's about living the life and getting the most from the experience, not just seeing how close you can get to the edge. My teenage daughter was watching this video with a friend and said, "This is like church to me." What she meant was that watching the video was approaching a spiritual experience. I'd have to agree with her and I'm proud that she has the right values and priorities.

Lines DVD (2008) Review

This is a "GREAT" video because the only video that I've seen to date that covers big mountain/back country snowboarding. Most of the other videos out there cover some back country and most park/jibbing/half pipe stuff.
The video also does a great job covering the history of big mountain snowboarding and the innovators.
Overall a great video with good footage.

Art of Flight DVD BD Review

This film is by far the most transfixing snowboarding experience I have ever seen.
The literal meaning of words like epic, amazing & awesome have been overused describing everyday occurrences, dumbing them down to the point that they will not adequately describe what is captured in this film.
It literally inspires awe and amazes the eyes and ears.
The camera work, soundtrack and editing are flat out ridiculous.
Seeing is believing, don't take my word for it.
Enjoy the ride.
