Nicklaus, Jack / Golf My Way Review

After renting this tape many times over the years, I was happy to find that Amazon.com carries it. I purchased it and at the same time purchased "Golf My Way -- The Full Swing". When they arrived, I found that this tape, "Golf My Way I -- Hitting the Shots" is the original tape that I have rented. I also found that "The Full Swing" is EXCERPTED from this one, so I returned it. It states that plainly on the cover, but that is not clear online. One only needs this one tape. Ordering both is not necessary.

Ron del Barrio's TURBO SWING: The Ten Minute Turbo Swing Review

I watched some tips on Youtube and thought he was really good. I had employed these about two years ago with success and rediscovered them. The tape is basic and his concept is the same-just some changes in instruction. I believe he is planning a new DVD. I would not have purchased this item had I previewed it first.

Jack Nicklaus - His March Through the Majors (2001) Review

Jack Nicklaus - His March Through the Majors (2001)

A magnificent look at golf's greatest player...wonderfully put together with fine commentary by Jim McKay and Jim Nantz. I was too young to remember Jack's earlier years, but this look at his 18 major championship victories has given me a new appreciation for what Jack Nicklaus has meant to the game of golf (and for what a daunting task Tiger has ahead of him!). His victories at places like St. Andrews and Pebble Beach are beautifully documented here, but the true highlight of this film is its dramatic look at his Sunday charge at the 1986 Masters...probably the most emotional and inspiring day in the history of the game. Jim Nantz walks us through Augusta's back nine on that incredible day in a segment that will leave you cheering (and wishing you had been there!).
Since the program focuses on Jack's victories, some of his classic duels with Tom Watson (particularly the 1977 British Open at Turnberry and the 1982 US Open at Pebble Beach) are omitted. However, there are enough gems in this 180-minute DVD to have you hitting putts in your living room and wishing that, just for a day, you could play the game like Jack Nicklaus.

Science of Golf Review

Science of Golf

I was very excited to receive this DVD set. I watch a ton of golf, I play a fair amount, and I couldn't wait to learn about the science behind clubs, balls, fitness, and courses. What I received was a 3 DVD set that is a commercial about what must be the real Science of Golf DVD set. In the DVD they spend plenty of tme at equipment labs, fitness facilities, and courses but in almost every instance they never actually cover the science of what they are doing in those locations or the science behind the products they are working on. There are many times in the series where success is determined by "imagination" and "feel"....the science is not even covered. Overall I was very frustratd with this purchase. It's a crime that they even used the word science in the title. You can get just as much science listening to comentators covering a Sunday round on tour.

The Complete Game Instructional DVD Review

Great DVD. Purchased it to see Stan Explain via video the techniques he teaches in his books, the Art of the Short Game and the Art of Putting. Its a video of Mr. Utley, Mr. Hardy, and Mr. Cook speaking at a summit or convention.
Found the portion on Utley to be really really helpful. I was also pleasantly surprised by Mr. Hardy's explanations of the 1 and 2 plane swings. I had heard his theories before, but didn't really understand them until watching this DVD. I've since purchased his DVD's and books. And still find this DVD to be he best of the bunch when it comes to simply explaining the two swings and why someone would choose to try one over the other.
I agree with the first poster, the only thing that would be better is if they could have had some shots of actual swings using either Mr. Hardy or Mr. Utley's techniques. All in all found the video to be a great addition to my library.

The SyberVision Impact Zone Personal Golf Mastery System Review

The SyberVision Impact Zone Personal Golf Mastery System

I purchased this product about two months ago, and so far I am very pleased with it. I purchased Bobby Clampett's impact book three years ago and I absolutely loved it. When I found this item while browsing Amazon one day, I just had to get it.
I have a lot of respect for Bobby Clampett and I loved how he explained the concept of his five Dynamics in his book, and to see him teach these dynamics in this training package is even better. As for the SyberVision part of this packaqe, I try to watch a little each day. I believe that it is helping me with my overall golf swing and I am looking forward to watching more of it.
If you are a fan of Bobby Clampett and his teaching philosophy, I would highly recommend this SyberVision program.

New Golf Training Technology Promises to Lower Your Handicap by 50% or More

Bobby Clampett, PGA Tour golfer and CBS Sports golf analyst studied great PGA tour golfers' swings to see what it was that made them great. Using CBS Sports' super slow motion SwingVision camera, Clampett discovered that eventhough these golfers all had different swing styles, they all impacted the ball (the deepest part of their divot) 5 to 6 inches in front of the ball.

Clampett then studied recreational golfers and learned they impact the ball 4 to 5 inches behind the ball a difference of up to 10 inches between hackers and pros.

Clampett learned that for every 1 inch recreational golfers move their divot forward, they would cut 4 strokes off their handicaps.

For example, if you are a 100-golfer (28 handicapper) and you could move your divot forward by 4 inches (the length of your baby finger) , you would quickly cut 16 strokes off your handicap.

Clampett then discovered 5 swing dynamics, that if learned, and made instinctual, would allow golfers at all levels to hit consistently in the positive impact score and dramatically reduce their scores. But how to do this? That's where SyberVision comes in.

Through extensive research at the Stanford University Neuropsychology Laboratory, SyberVision researchers learned how to take a filmed image of a model golfer performing a perfect golf swing and transfer than image into your body as if you had physically practiced the perfect swing--over and over again. As you watch the specially-edited SyberVision video your nervous system experiences the equivalent of hours of perfect practice in only a few minutes of viewing.

The end result is that you gain mastery over the golf swing and your scores plummet.

This powerful SyberVision visual learning technology was recently selected by Golf Magazines' Top 100 Instructors as the best golf video training ever!

In this program, Bobby Clampett introduces and explains his Impact Zone discovery and teaches the 5 dynamics. Clampett's swing is then presented using SyberVision's visual learning technology so that those dynamics and the perfect swing become a permanent part of your golf muscle memory.

Program Contents A complete, step-by-step training system on 4 disks.

1. Computer CD-ROM: Video-annoatated program introduction and interactive personal golf training and mastery guide. Plus, Bobby Clampett interview in which he shares how he made the impact zone discovery and details how it will revolutionize golf instruction and performance.

2. Impact Zone Clinic DVD: Bobby Clampett explains his impact zone discovery and teaches the 5 dynamics that allow golfers to quickly and easily cut their scores. Bobby also demonstrates 5 drills that help you get the feel for each of the 5 dynamics. You'll also see the correct impact zone swing modeled in super slow motion -- captured by the most powerful slow motion camera in the world.

3. SyberVision Muscle Memory Programming DVD: You'll learn about the SyberVision film-to-brain training system and experience the training as Bobby models each club from the driver to putting -- 60 minute of pure visual and muscle memory learning. Includes 7-minute "Muscle Memory Activator" and video.

4. Soundtrack CD: Through repeated watching of the muscle memory video, the images and sound (music and sweet spot golf sounds) become associated and linked in your mind. When you listen to the soundtrack by itself, the swing images stored in your mind are reinforced helping to further ingrain the correct swing dynamics in your muscle memory.
